As a new chapter, Proye Design and Goa Center for Alternative Photography (Goa-CAP) have conceived a 10 day art residency project in Dapoli titled ‘Maneuvering Exploration’ This photography residency is open to all the artists who are willing to experiment with alternative & analog photography with a focus on environment, nature.
Explore an ecologically hot spot Dapoli, flanked by Arebian sea and Sahyadri ranges.
Dapoli, a destination laped in rain forest of Western Ghat especially known for sunny, silvi and serenity. This part of Konkan region is famous for Alphanso and Cashew plantations. Surrounded by hills and forests and having a long coastline, Dapoli is a home for a variety of migratory birds and animals.
Our objective is to invite peculer eyes to provide them time, space and guide through interdisciplinary approach to both photography processes as well as project production. Our aim is to silently observe flanking activities within coastal community of Dapoli.

This 10-day residency will ensue in three parts. The first 5 days of the residency will comprise hands-on training and experimentation with Cyanotype process & Gum bichromate process. Artists will have the opportunity to explore, take risks, experiment, and collaborate in the research-and-development lab for the photography art. The last and remaining 5 days shall entail processing of the images by the artists.
This unique, first of its kind, residency will offer the participants an opportunity for exploration, reflection and experimentation while being in close proximity to the nature, being socially responsible.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
Request for Cancellation and refunds must be submitted in writing and must be dated. For a full refund (minus 15% Bank charges), the organiser must be notified no later than one months prior to the beginning of each Residency. No refunds will be issued after that time. All approved refunds take at least four weeks to process. Organiser is not responsible for providing refunds due to illness, emergencies, or events beyond our control.
